New James Bond Movie

So who else thinks this new version of Casino Royale, meant to reboot the Bond series, will probably kill it? 40+ years of Bond tradition is being thrown out of the window with no gadgets, no Q, and I am assuming, no puns? Part of the fun of Bond movies was seeing what kind of new gadgets they came up with for every movie as well as the humor. Now the producers of the Bond movies want to draw the crowd that goes to the Bourne movies. If that is the case, do we really need both and will the audience go to one and forsake the other? They have taken away MY Bond, the one that has literally been my Bond since the first movie was released the year I was born, and replaced it with just another spy action flick. How do you folks think they are going to keep this franchise unique? I don't hold out much hope.

I don't mind wanting a fresh take on Bond at all. Just don't abandon the things that have stayed true through 20 movies or you will lose your audience.
